Since 2020, he has releases on some of the greatest labels of the scene: Kompakt, Exploited, Mobilee, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff‘s Return To Disorder, and a full album on John Digweed‘s Bedrock Records, with a constant support some of the best DJ’s in the world.

What music did you listen to as a child?
I was born in the 80’s, so my parents listened to pretty cool pop music, from Michael Jackson to Jean-Michel Jarre. Jarre is the one who made me want to make music, I was fascinated by his synthesizers.
When was the first time that you realised that you liked electronic music?
It was in 1994, I heard Laurent Garnier playing Drax ‘Phosphene‘ in a mix on MTV at night. I was 13. At that specific moment, I fell in love with techno music.
When was the first time you saw a DJ in a club?
It was in a big rave called D-Mention near Paris in 1997. I was 16. There were some of the best DJ’s, and there was Laurent Garnier. I still remember when he played ‘Crispy Bacon‘, an unforgettable moment to see thousands of people going crazy. He signed me an autograph on the flyer, and it’s still on the wall in front of my studio setup.
Which producers/artists/acts inspire you?
Detroit techno with Underground Resistance, Dopplereffekt… That’s great to be remixed by Rolando & Scan 7 on my new release. Otherwise, my models are Laurent Garnier and Vitalic, I hope I can work with them one day.
What was the last album that you downloaded/bought?
I really don’t remember the last “album” that I bought. Now I receive a lot of promos, and sometimes I can download some tunes on Beatport. I think the last one is Third Son & Kilimanjaro ‘Depeche Node‘ that I’ve put in the mix.
What is your current production and DJ set up like?
I sold my hardware and just kept a computer with my old FL Studio and some plugins like V-Station and Spire. For deejaying, I play on CDJ with a USB key. I started mixing with vinyls 20 years ago and I still can play a vinyl set, I have a nice records collection.
What releases do you have on the horizon?
After a rich year 2022 with 11 releases & remixes, I finish it with a single featuring Davina (the one who did ‘Don’t You Want It‘ produced by Mad Mike in 1992 which is one of my all-time favorite songs). It’s called ‘Catch Me‘ and it’s coming on John Digweed‘s label Bedrock with great remixes from Rolando and Scan 7. Total Detroit/UR, I’m pretty proud of it. In 2023, there will be a new song on Marc Romboy‘s label Systematic, and also a huge collaboration with John Digweed. Then, a full album on a top label. Its a surprise!
Where can we hear you perform?
I will be playing at Hibernation Festival in Andorra on March 17/18, alongside the idols Laurent Garnier and Vitalic. Can’t wait!
Tell us more about the podcast you made for Balance?
First, I prepared the selection. From club/house music to Detroit techno and indie/electro stuff, a journey with exalting moments and emotion. I recorded it with a MP3 controller and made volume corrections on computer. I want it to be clean and comfortable for home listening.
My Recommendations
The top track in my DJ wallet currently is:
It’s a remix of my song ‘La Vérité des Songes‘ by Larionov, coming in 2023 on label Science Cult. Pure banger!
About released tracks, one of my fav this year was ‘Trip To Your Mind‘ by Hard Ton. Housy, trippy, acid, irresistible.
If I could recommend only one of my tracks for you to listen to it would be:
‘Everything‘ on Kompakt is my biggest success, with +100K on Spotify and vinyl sold out. My collabs with Popof on Mobilee and Exploited are also getting strong interest. But I would say that the songs I’m most proud of are probably ‘Floorwax‘,’Computer Monkey‘, or ‘The Mirror‘ featuring Dave Clarke.
If I could recommend only one track for you to listen to it would be:
Davina – Don’t You Want It
The last movie I watched that I really liked:
Long time since I really liked a movie. Maybe ‘La Belle Époque‘ by Nicolas Bedos, or ‘Knives Out‘ by Rian Johnson. Recently I had a nice moment with Guillermo del Toro‘s ‘Nightmare Alley‘.
My favourite TV show:
Breaking Bad, of course!
