As a child, I was exposed to a wide variety of music, from pop and rock to soul and Georgian folk. Some of the artists I listened to most were George Michael, Madonna, Michael Jackson, R.E.M., and Queen.
One of my earliest and most meaningful musical memories was sitting on my late grandfather’s lap at the piano when I was just three years old. He would play melodies for me on the keys, and that magical experience sparked a deep emotional connection to music—one that has stayed with me ever since.
I remember when my father brought home a vinyl by Jean-Michel Jarre, and I listened to Oxygène for the very first time. I was only eight years old, and that album opened a whole new world of sound to me, it was my very first real encounter with electronic music.
As I grew older, I was deeply inspired by Northern Exposure from Sasha & John Digweed, and I also fell in love with the trance sound of Tiësto’s legendary Magik and In Search of Sunrise series.
The combination of these influences made me fall completely in love with electronic music, and to this day you can clearly hear the imprint of progressive and Uplifting melodic sounds in my own productions.
The first time I experienced a club playing electronic music was when I was 17. One party that remains vivid in my memory was a legendary performance by Sasha at Octopus Club in Tel Aviv in 2000. I stood mesmerized in front of the DJ booth for nearly the entire set, completely captivated by the music.
In that moment, I understood how powerful it is to stand behind the decks—to play the music you love and to share joy with people through sound. As a music producer, that night became a defining moment for me, a true inspiration that shaped the path of my musical journey.
Many great artists have influenced me over the years, but if I had to choose one, it would be DJ Moshic. When I first discovered his music in the early 2000s, I was immediately struck by the uniqueness of his sound—a signature that remains instantly recognizable to this day.
I began as a fan, and over time our paths crossed, eventually leading to a friendship. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to release an original track on his label, accompanied by a remix he created for me.
I was also honored to produce a remix for him, which will be released soon on his label. These experiences have been monumental for me—truly a dream come true and a full-circle moment in my musical journey.
The last album I purchased was The Book of Wisdom by Volen Sentir. Every track on this album tells a story, and I absolutely love immersing myself in it. The way the music unfolds and takes you on a journey is truly inspiring and resonates deeply with my own approach to producing organic and progressive electronic music.
I produce all my music in Ableton Live, using an Arturia MIDI keyboard, along with a wide range of plugins and sound libraries. For vocals, I often use AI-assisted tools to create original content and avoid relying on commonly used samples, ensuring my sound remains unique and personal.
For DJing, I perform using a Pioneer XDJ-RX3 and a Numark Mixstream Pro Go.
Some of my upcoming releases can already be heard in my Balance Selections mix, including new originals and remixes I’ve done for artists such as Moshic, Akiva, and IGCIØ.
I also have fresh original productions scheduled for release on respected labels such as Balkan Connection, LuPS, The Purr, and Wander Nation Records. In addition, I’m currently working on several more tracks—still untitled and unsigned—that represent the next phase of my evolving sound.
This Balance Selections mix is very special to me. I wanted to incorporate my own originals, remixes, and new music, including several unreleased tracks. For the introduction, I created something deeply personal: a tribute to my late grandparents, using their recorded voices from a conversation we once shared.
The set runs for two hours, and I carefully selected each track to craft a unique musical journey. I recorded it in Ableton to ensure that the flow and transitions fully captured the emotion and energy I wanted to express.
I also included music from artists I deeply admire—individuals who have supported and inspired me since the very beginning of my journey. This mix became an opportunity not only to share my sound but also to honor them and return their love through music.
At the moment, I mainly perform in Hungary. Currently, my focus is primarily on producing my music, but starting next year, I plan to perform more frequently wherever I am invited around the world.
“Worlds Apart” by Guy J – a true masterpiece, full of energy, emotion, and progressive depth.
“Yotam” – dedicated to my beloved son, combining classic sounds from the past, heartfelt melodies, emotion, and driving rhythm, One of the first tracks I produced.
“Dancing Flower” by Sebastian Busto – a masterpiece that moves me to tears every time I hear it.
Superman, who has also been my childhood hero.
BeTipul (“In Treatment”), as I have always been fascinated by mental health and personal therapy.
Georgia, the country where my parents were born, a beautiful country rich in culture and tradition that continues to influence me to this day.
