Armen Miran has a love and passion for electronic music which started at a very young age when he spent the majority of his time at underground music scenes. In 2006, Armen began his journey producing electronic ambient and dub techno sounds. He was booked for his very first gig at Armenia’s well known underground venue called Calumet where he won over the crowd with his ambient/deep house tunes. It wasn’t long before Armen Miran became the name and face of Armenia’s underground music scene and the resident of Calumet.
He kicked off 2019 by announcing his new label Hoomidaas Records. For their first showcase, at a 1700 year old Cistern in Istanbul, he played to a sold out crowd featuring Monolink. With their 2nd showcase in Barcelona, they gave attendees a rare chance to see Armen Miran and Hraach together, along with Davi as the surprise special guest. In the short amount of time since the inception of the label, Hoomidass Records has not only boldly entered this industry, but has done so with such promise that we cannot wait to see what their future holds.
