Balance Music will head to Geelong’s Bloom nightclub this weekend to host a one-off showcase.
Geelong is not the first place you think of when you consider Melbourne nightlife, but over the last two years Bloom Nightclub has turned the sleepy port city into a destination for international artists. To date they have hosted acts as diverse as Patrick Topping, and Anna, and this weekend Balance is getting an opportunity to test drive their much talked about Funktion-One Soundsystem.
Headlining is Balance artist Uone, whose 2018 Balance Presents release created some well received buzz. The mix traversed two CD’s worth of productions and all featured Uone’s production touch via a variety of collaborations, remixes and originals. His DJ sets are equally impressive, and there have been unconfirmed reports of many spiritual awakenings during his sets. That single follows the first round of remixes for first single ‘Karnival Dreams’.
