What music did you listen to as a child?
Well, that hasn’t been many years lol but I remember special moments listening to Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, and ABBA influenced by my father.
When was the first time that you realised that you liked electronic music?
It was when I listened to artists who had electronic instruments in their music, Pink Floyd, Underworld, Moderat, it was something that caught my attention at that time.
When was the first time you saw a DJ in a club?
I won’t remember well, but in mid-2012 I went to a party hidden from my parents and saw a friend playing, and I tried to find out how this whole electronic music industry worked. But the first contact with a super club was in 2018 at Warung Beach Club, here in Brazil, all night long by Hernan Cattaneo.
Which producers/artists/acts inspire you?
Guy J is without a doubt the main protagonist in this, I think he has a different vision of everything and that makes me mirror myself and have him as a reference, Hernan Cattaneo because he is the figure for all of Latin America, his charisma and the way I saw him leading a dance floor for an entire night.
What was the last album that you downloaded/bought?
It was Hermanez – Rewire I really like Hermanez, and the fact that he changed the sound line a little bit to a style that I love listening to made me like the album even a little more.
What is your current production and DJ set up like?
In my studio things are simple, I use a pair of KRK Rokit 8, Audio-Technica Headfone ATH-M50x and an M-Audio AIR192/4 interface, I produce in Fruity Loops 20 and I love the Zebra 2 and Serum synthesizers, to play myself I use CDJ or XONE K2 Allen & Heath (which is what I used to record the mix)
What releases do you have on the horizon?
I have a remix for the Swedish producer EMPHI, I even added it to the mix, and two EPs that are still under negotiation and I don’t know if I can reveal them
Where can we hear you perform?
I have my own party that takes place monthly here in my city, it’s called ‘Room Club‘ besides being the owner I’m a resident, other than that I don’t have many proposals so far here in Brazil.
Tell us more about the podcast you made for Balance?
In this mix I focused on my side as a DJ, I put only two of my songs. I sat in my studio with my Kontrol k2 and made it special, used old, current tracks as if it were a club gig or something.
