I’ve been into music for as long as I can remember. My dad was a musician, so I basically grew up surrounded by it. Ever since I was a baby, there was always music playing at home.
He played in a regional band with a style kind of like country music, and that definitely shaped my connection to music
When I was a teenager, I was obsessed with pop—it was the genre I connected with the most. But I’ve always looked up to my older sister, and she was the one who got me curious about electronic music.
I remember when I turned 18, my sister invited me to Warung Beach Club. My first question was, ‘Will there be a place to sit?’
I honestly didn’t think I could handle a whole night of electronic music. She just smiled. Turns out, it was one of the most fun nights I’ve ever had.
My first proper electronic music experience was with none other than Hernan Cattaneo at Warung. Not a bad start, right?
I’m a huge fan of London Grammar. Their album ‘If You Wait’ is one of my all-time favorites, it was basically my soundtrack when I started recording vocals for electronic tracks.
My next gig is coming up in September, at a place that feels like home to me: River Club. The venue has been growing a lot and is becoming a true hotspot for progressive house in southern Brazil, bringing in some real legends.
The last movie I watched and really liked was ‘The Worst Person in the World‘.
As for TV shows, I’m a big fan of Sex and the City and And Just Like That. I also love watching MasterChef when I want to relax.
Life’s pretty busy most of the time, so when I get a break, I prefer heading somewhere peaceful, like a cozy cabin in the middle of the woods.
