What music did you listen to as a child?

I used to steal CDs off my brothers, like Armand Van Helden and Daft Punk albums. Also a lot of rave cassettes and Essential mixes from people like Sasha and Carl Cox.

When was the first time you realised that you liked electronic music?

Maybe I was about 10 when my mum and dad got me a Yamaha DJX keyboard, packed with all the dance music genres—and that’s when I fell in love.

When was the first time you saw a DJ in a club?

DJ Sneak in Shine in Belfast around 2002, it was great.

Which artists inspire you?

Aphex Twin, Burial, Synkro, D Bridge, Sasha, Digweed, Tangerine Dream.

What was the last album that you liked?

Burial’s OST of the film “Bird”

What is your current production and DJ setup like?

I’ve transitioned from using 20 pieces of outboard gear and synths to just a laptop and a MIDI keyboard. With modern VSTs and the power of Apple’s new chips, it’s hard to beat the setup now

What releases do you have on the horizon?

I released a single on December 5th via Dreamstate titled Feel Your Love, featuring vocalist Katy Alex. Next year, I have a lineup of exciting collaborations and numerous self-releases planned on my record labels, Trance Wax Records and YomTum.
