‘Anjunadeep 5’ will be compiled by Jody Wisternoff and Anjunadeep label boss, James Grant.
The fifth edition of Anjunadeep will be a 2CD package that will take in electronica, deep house, modern garage vibes, and spacey techno. Label boss James Grant has mixed the first CD which will feature a host of exclusive material from Dusky, Vincenzo, Tom Middleton, Beckwith and DAVI to name a few. One half of legendary dance act Way Out West, Jody Wsiternoff, will be in charge of disc 2 which promises some “sun-soaked deep house”, “Good Looking-esque liquid jungle atmosphere”, “Garage curveballs” and “deep washed out techno”.
Anjunbeats sub-label, Anjunadeep, manages to straddle the fine line between underground and mainstream with a sound that is dedicated to deep electronic grooves.They are celebrated in various media from Dj Mag to Resident Advisor, and their releases have find their way to a host of the world’s top DJ’s: Solomun, Breach, John Digweed and Kerri Chandler to name just a few. it was Anjunadeep that saw the potential in Dusky by releasing their debut album back in 2011, and also signing other talents such Matt Lange, Martin Roth, Beckwith and Andrew Bayer along the way. Their releases are always big events for their loyal fans and this new edition looks set to be no different.
