‘Covert Affection featuring Manaa’, is the first single to be released from Namito’s ground-breaking autobiographical prequel album, ‘Leaving Everything Behind’ on Balance Music.
This electronica single, depicted with a painting, as well as a story, signals Namito‘s coming of age, as the 13 year old adolescent learns he will soon be evacuated to Germany, in a bid to escape the raging war in his homeland of Iran.
As well as dealing with the pending loss he is soon to face, ‘Covert Affection’, deals with the taboo of unexplained and forbidden feelings he has developed for a girl in his class.
This playful, bittersweet tale, from the rapidly rising Berliner, is another masterful display of Namito’s story telling through music, art, and literature. The EP also includes a Club mix, that is looking set to challenge his other chart topping hits of the summer, with both ‘Stone Flower’ and the seminal ‘Letting Go’, already making the playlists of Joris Voorn, Domink Eulberg, Adriatique, Guy J, and Bebetta.
