Das Pharaoh throws down two hours of quality progressive house…
Hailing from Egypt and shaped by a clear affinity for melodic and progressive house, Das Pharaoh has quickly developed into a project with genuine international traction.
Releases on labels such as UV and Siona have delivered multiple chart successes, while wide-ranging support from selectors include Hernan Cattaneo to Solomun points to broad dancefloor appeal.
Beyond the studio, the act has expanded its profile through the ULF (Underground Live Forever) podcast with Paul Thomas, while performances at the Great Pyramids of Giza, Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event and dates across Europe, Asia and North Africa underline a steadily widening reach.

Mostly Arabic music at that time as it was and still is the most popular in Egypt.
From the first time I heard electronic music, I knew it was the style that spoke to me most. From there, I began exploring through dance shows on the radio, but mostly through mix tapes my friends made.
Maybe when I was 15, some older friends managed to sneak me into the most underground club in Cairo at the time. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
That was the moment I decided to start DJing and producing myself.
Back in the days Paul Van Dyk was my biggest inspiration and thats how I fell in love with Trance / Electronic music.

My Studio is a mix of Hardware and Software. Love to use both as each brings something special to my sound.
My favs are the Moog Sub37, Serum 2, Diva & Pigments. As for DJing I m still on CDJs.
I still have my turntables in the studio and I practice on them every now and then, but its been a while since the last time I preformed on them in a show.
So many releases are planned this year as it looks as my busiest year.
In June I have a release on Mango Alley called Fragments, and a remix for GRAZZE coming out on UV, For July a new EP on UV.
And I guess, every month after that I will be having a new release or a remix until the end of the year.
Next show will be in San Francisco at Audio and you can also follow a podcast Paul Thomas and me started end of last year called ‘Underground live Forever‘.
It was made on CDJs. I have been working so hard the past few weeks on new music exclusively for this mix and also we signed a lot of great music on UV. So I will be showcasing my sound and UV’s in those 2 hours.
