One of my earliest musical memories from childhood is listening to Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon album with my parents.
When I listened to a Pink Floyd vinyl record on an old turntable we had at home. I remember how the experience of listening to music in that format sparked my curiosity and fascination with electronic music, a passion that has only continued to grow over the years.
It was in 2019, when I saw John Digweed and then Hernán Cattáneo perform at Forja in Córdoba. I remember they were incredible experiences, discovering the energy created between a DJ and the dancefloor.
Those moments deeply shaped my connection with electronic music.
Some of the artists who inspire me the most are John Digweed, Sasha and Guy J. I deeply admire their musical vision, their ability to create immersive journeys through sound, and the way they build a unique connection with the dancefloor.
The last album I purchased was Live at Twilo by John Digweed.
My production setup consists of a Mac computer, using Ableton Live as my DAW and studio monitors for my productions. My favourite synthesizers at the moment are Serum and ANA2.
For my DJ sets, I use a setup consisting of four CDJ-3000s and a Pioneer DJ V10 mixer, using Rekordbox to organize and prepare my music.
I have several exciting releases coming up, including an EP in collaboration with Jody Barr on Plastic Fantastic, two EPs with Aubrey Fry, and an upcoming original EP of my own.
My next big show will be at Sunsetstrip, alongside Hernán Cattáneo, on December 5th in Mendoza, Argentina.
It’s a two-hour set in which I aimed to create a progressive musical journey, building a narrative that gradually evolves through different atmospheres, melodies and grooves.
The journey begins with ‘Cream’ by Robert Babicz, a track with a smooth groove that starts to set the tone of the set. From there, I move on to tracks by DAVI, Sasha and Sean Harvey, exploring different nuances and dynamics.
Towards the final part, the set gains energy with two of Bedrock’s latest releases, ‘Grey Area’ and ‘Metro’ by Simon Vuarambon. Finally, the journey ends with ‘Sunspill’ by Anthony Pappa and Framewerk, a masterpiece full of emotion and energy.
I really enjoyed putting this set together, and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.
