That reputations sees him tour regularly across the continent and the CIS, from St. Petersburg to Yerevan.

Music was always a significant part of my childhood. My dad played guitar in a small band and even performed at a renowned venue of the time called DK Gorbushka. I still cherish the memory of sitting behind the drum kit during their breaks—there’s even a photo of me from one of those moments, back in 1986. My dad was a devoted fan of classic rock, so our home was filled with the sounds of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Queen, and iconic Russian bands like Aria and Alice.
Around 1992, my friend’s older sister introduced us to The Prodigy with a cassette tape, saying, “This will change your world.” It was my first experience with broken rhythms, and it truly left a lasting impression. Then, around 1996, she shared an acid house cassette with us. I can’t recall exactly what it was, but it was my first exposure to straight drum beats, and I quickly became immersed in this new sound.
At the time, my dad was already learning Cakewalk, and my friends and I began experimenting with creating acid house. We used programs like Rebirth—an emulator of iconic Roland modules like the TB-303 (bassline), TR-808, and TR-909. It was a process of trial and error, but those early attempts were the beginning of my journey into electronic music.
I first stepped into a club when I was 14. It was an evening party at a place called X-Ray, where DJs spun records featuring acid house, hard house, and hardcore. The atmosphere was electric, with ultraviolet lights and strobes filling the packed space. Everything seemed to glow.
The crowd was a vibrant mix, with lime and orange T-shirts all the rage, and bleached white hair—a trend heavily inspired by the movie Hackers at the time. It was a pure expression of youth and freedom, and I felt completely swept up in it. I was there, part of it all.
Since I began creating music, I’ve focused intensely on sound design, mixing, and refining my style. One of my biggest inspirations is Guy J—his soundscapes are simply breathtaking. His music is captivating and melodic, with innovative approaches and a distinctive groove that sets him apart.
I also hold deep admiration for Kasper Koman and Mike Griego. Their ability to craft a recognizable and unique style is remarkable, and I respect them greatly for that. They’ve built something truly their own, which is exactly what I strive to achieve in my journey as an artist.
It was an Underworld album, rich with an intriguing and diverse sound that captivated me completely. I listened to it with pure pleasure, and I highly recommend giving it a spin..
My studio is primarily built around analog equipment. My main synth is the Prophet 6, and I also have the MFB Tanzbar, Make Noise 0-Coast, and MFB Dominion Club. For my birthday, I received a Bastl Thyme+, which I’ve been experimenting with and enjoying a lot. As for my DAW, I use Ableton Live 10—yes, I’m one of those who hasn’t upgraded to 12 yet.
When it comes to DJing, I enjoy playing with decks. My preferred setup includes 3 or 4 Pioneer CDJ-3000s along with the A9 or 900 Nexus2. This setup gives me the flexibility to be more creative with my mixes and helps maintain a solid sound throughout the performance.
I took a break from writing music over the summer due to a busy touring schedule, but now I’m feeling recharged and gearing up for new releases. I’m planning to release some tracks on Mango Alley and WARPP. Additionally, I’ve recorded a collaboration with my friend Montw, and we’re still deciding which label would be the best fit for the track.
We’re also putting together a remix collection from some highly respected producers for our tracks with Bondarev, which will be released on the WARPP label. Stay tuned—there’s a lot of exciting new music coming your way soon!
Over the past six months, I’ve had the opportunity to play a lot of gigs in Russia, including festivals and major events at clubs like Gazgolder, Community, and tours in other cities. I’ve also been fortunate to be a part of the regular parties hosted by the promo team GRYADET, where I had the honor of performing at the legendary Moscow club Propaganda, which has been around since 1994. I was able to mark my name in the final chapter of this iconic venue, and that event will always hold a special place in my heart.
Looking ahead, I already have several performances lined up in Moscow, so keep an eye out for announcements. I’ve also received requests to play in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, and I’m now open to international bookings and excited to consider offers.
The podcast I created for Balance is particularly special to me. Normally, I mix my podcasts live in Traktor, but for this one, I decided to switch things up and mix it in Ableton. I also added some synth sounds to bring extra depth and variety. The mix blends different styles—while progressive forms the foundation, there are tracks that I produced over a year ago but still feel incredibly relevant today. I believe it turned out to be a unique and cohesive story, and I hope it takes you on a captivating musical journey through the diverse landscapes of electronic music. This podcast also includes our collaboration with Montw.
