A two hour dynamic mix from Argentina’s Lisandro…
Lisandro’s rise has been shaped by a deep connection to melodic and progressive electronic music. Emerging from Buenos Aires, the DJ and producer has built an international presence through a steady stream of releases on respected underground imprints, from The Soundgarden to Perfecto, and performances stretching from Ibiza to Miami.
As both an artist and label curator through his Flug Lab platform, his approach leans toward immersive storytelling.
That sensibility carries through his DJ sets, where flowing grooves, cinematic tension and understated emotion take priority over obvious peaks.
On this Balance Selections mix, Lisandro stretches his creative wings with a two-hour audio voyage.
Featuring tracks from EMPHI, Anthony Pappa & Fauxplay, Kasper Koman and more, this is a dynamic mix that balances deep hypnotic moments with sweeping melodic lifts.

I grew up surrounded by music. My family was always playing a mix of rock and roll, pop, and 1990s electronic music at home, which shaped my musical taste from an early age.
I realised I liked electronic music at 10 years old, listening to cassettes and CDs around 1998, many of them from my family, especially my cousin who was a teenager at the time. From that moment, the connection was immediate.
The first time I saw a DJ in a club was at Pacha Buenos Aires, with Satoshi Tomiie. It was a defining experience. I was impressed by how he could control the energy of the crowd and take people on a journey.
Artists like Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Guy J, John Digweed and Eric Prydz have been a major influence on my sound.
I’m especially inspired by artists who create an emotional journey and prioritize storytelling within their sets.
Recently I purchased the new EP Piece of Cake by Guy J, released on his Early Morning label. It caught my attention for its sound and depth, and it’s the kind of music that fits perfectly with what I look for in my sets.
My production setup is mainly based on Ableton Live, combined with MIDI controllers like Arturia KeyLab and analog gear such as the Korg Minilogue and Roland System-1, which add character and warmth to the sound.
I also use a Universal Audio Apollo interface and KRK 10 studio monitors with a subwoofer for greater accuracy and power in the studio.
For DJing, I usually play on CDJs using USB, which gives me flexibility and allows me to focus on the flow of the set.
I have several upcoming releases and collaborations this year, including a release on Warung Recordings from Brazil and my new album, set to be released in 2026 on my label, Flug Lab. There are also other important projects that I can’t reveal yet.
I’m currently developing new music focused on expanding and evolving my sound, exploring fresh ideas, new grooves, and always keeping innovation at the core.
I perform regularly at clubs and events across Argentina and internationally. My next show will be on July 18th at Do Not Sit on the Furniture Miami USA during the 2026 World Cup final.
I also share my DJ sets and podcasts on platforms like SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify and Beatport, where I showcase different sides of my sound.
The idea was to build a journey rather than just a sequence of tracks, focusing on groove, atmosphere, and gradual progression.
I included some deeper and melodic cuts that bring tension and emotion, along with a couple of my new ID tracks as a preview of unreleased material.
I recorded the podcast for Balance in my studio using a Pioneer CDJ-3000 setup, aiming for a powerful, organic, and dynamic sound. It took me about three weeks to complete the process.
The Michael Jackson biographical film, titled Michael, was released in theaters on April 24, 2026.
