Analog Jungs showcase why they are one of the rising stars of the South American scene…
Rising from Argentina’s underground, Analog Jungs are the duo of Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte. Since their 2015 debut, they’ve honed a sound rooted in dance-floor fundamentals, inspired by artists like Cid Inc, Guy J, and Henry Saiz.
In 2019, Nick Warren had brought them into The Soundgarden fold, Antrim’s Or Two Strangers became a steady home, and by 2021 a breakout remix catapulted them into Beatport’s progressive top ten. More recently, their Mango Alley streak has delivered an impressive run of productions, highlighted by ‘Solar Symphony’: a depth charge of a track that grooves with infectious drive.
In this Balance Selections mix, Analog Jungs stay true to form with another engaging underground outing. Featuring tracks from Patch Park, Fran Garay, EMPHI and much more, this is deep 2 hours of quality progressive that never lurks too far for the shadows.

As a child, I had a large collection of vinyl records at home, covering a variety of genres, from rock to disco to pop. I was always drawn to them and spent many hours using my grandmother’s jukebox.
There were no musicians in my family, but I was already eager to play records or record songs that came on the radio onto cassettes. I was very curious about music; I wasn’t confined to one style, and that’s why I can listen to anything today.
It must have been a radio station or being in contact with people who already listened to electronic music. Or maybe my older brother and his friends, who would spend long afternoons listening to music. These are just a few possibilities.
I think it was a radio station that only played electronic music. Then, with the advent of platforms, I watched videos of festivals and DJ shows, and that’s how I got used to the genre.
I have fond memories of my first encounters at the clubs that had become iconic in Córdoba at the time. There were Lokitas, Club F, and Dorian Gray. I had the opportunity to hear many artists who influenced me in the electronic music scene.
Artists like Guy Gerber, Steve Lawler, Satoshi Tomiie, and Jimmy Van M played there, in addition to the local artists whose passion I always admired. The music they played was excellent, but the atmosphere in those places was even better.
Today, the artist who inspires me most is Guy J. From the moment I first heard his productions to experiencing him on the dance floor, his music has never stopped astonishing me. I love his experimentation with atmospheric sounds and his powerful groove.
I also draw inspiration from Australians like Mike Rish, Jamie Stevens, and GMJ, as well as Argentinians such as Ezequiel Arias, Simon Vuarambon, and Kevin Di Serna. All are remarkable talents whose work reminds us to focus on creating art rather than chasing social media.
The last album I picked up was from one of my biggest influences in my current productions: Jamie Stevens’ Beginner’s Guide to Floating. It’s a stunning body of work that I’d recommend to anyone who appreciates truly crafted music.
The soundscapes are rich and immersive, a genuine delight to the ear. I’ve even played some of the tracks in my DJ sets, and the journey the album creates on the dance floor is nothing short of incredible.
Production-wise, my setup consists of a few synths like the Korg MS20 or the Monologue. But most of my work is done with software. I use Ableton, Arturia, and Spectrasonics, to name a few. I love sampling and creating sounds, even ripping vinyl records. As for DJing, my current preference is to play with Pioneer CDJs, at least three, and the DJM V10 mixer. I’ve played with many setups, and this is the one I feel most comfortable with. I can create different atmospheres and play a lot like I would if I were producing live.
Well, I have a lot of material coming out. Under my other alias, Claudio Cornejo (AR), I have an EP called Infinity, which is my best of this year. It’s out on October 10th thanks to the Spanish label Univack.
There are also releases from my label Constellation Music. There’s a very interesting Rockka EP, with remixes from Mayro and me. EPs of new artists, and a special one from Analog Jungs.
Also I’m finishing a very nice remix for the label Warung, which promises a lot, and another for my favorite label, Mango Alley, which will be released in 2026.
I created the podcast in Ableton Live, using only the DAW’s native effects. The longest part was selecting the tracks; it took me many hours to decide which ones to include.
There are many IDs from friends who shared their music. Also included are music that will soon be released on my label. It’s two hours full of a powerful, hypnotic groove, with drums and bass that invite dancing.
I’m sure you’ll like it.
I’m going to be at ADE this year. I’m playing at the Mango Alley and Manual Music Closing Party. The show is on October 26th at Akhathon. Then I’m playing in Manchester with Maze 28 on November.
I usually play a lot in Argentina, but you can listen to my podcast Constellation on my Soundcloud channel or my other podcast Infinity as Claudio Cornejo (AR).
