My earliest memories of music are from car rides with my father. He’s a musician and I inherited a great love for music from him. I remember we’d listen to bands like Toto, Supertramp, The Beatles, The Police, and a lot of jazz. Music was a constant presence in my life, thanks to him.
My mother would sometimes take me to see him play live — and I also loved watching my mother dance to his concerts. At home, my parents would often have some party going on with a lot of friends, and he would play guitar and sing. Music is woven into my family’s everyday life since forever.
I also remember sneaking in my father’s studio while he was recording.
It was in 2003, my first night out in a club, it’s then I discovered house music for the first time. One track in particular really caught my attention—Dave Armstrong‘s “Make Your Move.”
The energy, the beats, and the vibe of the music were completely new to me, and from that moment, I was hooked on electronic music. It opened up a whole new world of sound and rhythm that I haven’t experienced before.
It was in a small club called Buddha not too far from where I was living back then, in St. Etienne, France. The DJ that night was DJ Abdel, and I still recall how captivating the music was. It was a defining moment for me— right there on the spot it, I knew, without a doubt, that one day I would make music and become a DJ myself.
The energy in the club was electric, and I would go there afterwards purely for the music. That night really solidified my love for the craft and the art of DJing.
My inspiration comes mostly from my emotions, especially when I allow myself to just flow and let go. For me, the inspiration is not something that strikes or fall from the sky, it’s an ongoing effort, I spend a lot of time playing keyboards and synths you know just improvising or working on some melodies looking ways to translate my feelings into music.
When I’m on the road I still think about writing music so sometimes I’d just record myself mumbling a melody or a beat… It’s a very personal and emotional process for me.
Actually the last album that I actually have purchased is Götterstrasse by Westbam. There are some crazy collaborations on this album by German rave master, it fascinates me how he managed to put together Iggy Pop, Kanye West, Bernard Summner, Lil Wayne and many others and to have the consistency like that is just unbelievable.
It’s a mix of the two worlds. As a pianist I naturally start everything by playing keyboards and synths. I use Machine by Native Instruments for the beat making but sometimes I also like laying down fast ideas with it. I use both Logic and Ableton. I prefer to do arrangements in Ableton and to record and do initial sound design in Logic.
My new favourite setup is Prophet 10 and Blu Sky reverb, sometimes this alone is giving me a lot of inspiration to write new material. As a DJ my set up is quite standard I guess: 3 CDJ 3000 and V10. I don’t use any peripherals while mixing.
My next release is something really special. It’s a collaboration with Angelos and the legendary Robert Owens. This track is an ode to Classic House and Afrotech, blending the Robert’s Chicago house magic with my and Angelos’ version of afro house.
I’m thrilled to have them both on board for this project, and I’m honoured to release it on my label, Non Merci Music. It’s a project I’m really proud of.
I have a quite busy schedule till the end of the year and people can come and dance to my music in places such as at Polaris Festival in Swiss, The Gardens Of Babylon in Amsterdam, Watergate in Berlin, Savaya Bali, Brunch Electro
I recorded it live with my old inhouse setup 2 CDJ-2000 and DJM-900 with no effects. I have recorded several different mixes and in the end I picked up this one, probably because it reminded my 5hr closing set at Watergate I did back in May.

Actually I’m not really good with vacations. I’m always the road due to my work and I must be honest it stresses me a lot so for me the real vacation is to chill at my home and discover hidden gems around Ibiza, where I live. I love to roadtrip, especially I like to visit historic places and but especially the nature, the next one I’m eager to do is the “castle route” in my home country France. One of my favorite destinations is Bali, I love the way of life there. Favorite hotel is Villa D’Este at the Lake Como in Italy.
